Marvel Comics has announced that everyone’s favorite “X-MAN Storm” will be released as a one-shot version, “Storm: Lifedream.” Released on January 29th, one0shot kicks off Black History Month as part of the Marvel’s Voices anthology.

STORM: LIFEDREAM is spearheaded by superstar journalist and Marvel’s Voices creator Angelique Rocher, who recently made her Marvel Comics debut at number one with Miles Morales: Spider-Man. It will also include a story by Curtis Baxter from best-selling author Brittney Morris (SLAY, The Cost). Eisner Award-winning writer and artist John Jennings (Kindred, Silver Surfer), rising Marvel artist Karen S. Darboe (Bloodlines: Daughter of Blade), and acclaimed cover artist Edwin Garmon.

So what is Storm: Lifedream?

As galactic historians attempt to break records on one of the most famous X-Men in the history of the multiverse, they will find an irresistibly powerful woman. And she risks unleashing a side of her that no one has ever seen before. Experience a whirlwind journey through Storm’s most iconic eras, as a malevolent presence threatens to tarnish her legacy!

NEW YORK, NY — October 23, 2024 — Next year, Marvel Comics will celebrate Black History Month with an all-new Marvel’s Voices comic book special, STORM: LIFEDREAM #1, featuring some of pop culture’s most groundbreaking black superheroes. Shine the spotlight on one person. !

Arriving at the end of January to kick off Black History Month, this epic Marvel’s Voices anthology one-shot brings together an all-Black creative team to celebrate Ororo Munroe’s extraordinary life and celebrate the character’s 50th anniversary. It will be in time for the milestone. Storm has risen to new heights in recent months with the addition of Jed McKay and Valerio City’s Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the launch of a new standalone ongoing series from Murewa Ayodele and Lucas Warnek did.
