LG has announced two new projectors for CES 2025 that it calls the successors to last year’s CineBeam Q. The PF600U may look like a stand fan, but it’s actually a projector that also has a Bluetooth speaker and LED mood lamp. The lighting comes in 9 colors and 5 levels of brightness, so you can customize the atmosphere to your liking. When you turn your head, you get a projector that can produce images up to 120 inches in size with FHD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution and 300 ANSI lumens of brightness. Through LG’s webOS, you can stream movies, shows, and other content from streaming platforms.
Another projector from the company is a direct successor to the CineBeam Q. CineBeam S is currently LG’s smallest 4K ultra-short throw projector, weighing just 5.5 pounds. It can deliver images as large as 100 inches with 4K UHD resolution and 500 ANSI lumens of brightness, while requiring only “a few inches of wall space.” It has Dolby Atmos functionality and, like the PF600U, runs LG’s webOS. The device has a metallic finish and is designed to be portable, so you can easily place it anywhere you like. LG is built to be mobile, with intuitive features that automatically adjust the screen, adjust colors based on walls, and resize images to fit room dimensions. provided.
LG has not yet revealed the projector’s pricing and availability, but will likely announce details at CES 2025. Notably, CineBeam Q became available for pre-order in March 2024 and retailed for $1,299.
