Afeela 1 had a great time at CES today. This was the highlight of Monday night’s Sony press conference, but it was about Sony’s other priorities (which, oddly enough, were more about anime, TV, movies, and professional video creation tools than consumer electronics) I needed to stand on the same stage as him. The product is currently in the spotlight at a dedicated event for Sony Honda Mobility, a joint venture between the two Japanese companies behind Afeela.
What to expect from Afeela’s CES 2025 press conference
Thanks to Sony’s previous presses, we know more about Afeela 1 than we did 24 hours ago. The Afeela 1 Origin and Afeela 1 Signature are priced at $89,900 and $109,900, respectively. Customers in California can now reserve the Signature trim for a refundable $200 fee, with first deliveries scheduled for mid-2026. The Origin version is expected to arrive next year. Both versions include three years of access to services including Level 2+ driving assistance, Afeela personal agent, and a variety of entertainment options.
Learn more about Afeela 1 in Afeela’s keynote. Stay tuned for a closer look at the near-final version of the tech-packed EV.
