With only a few days left in Tony Sandoval’s Fantasy Dreamworld’s Magnetic Press Back Markit Campaign, Beat has an exclusive preview of one of Tony Sandoval’s more political works, based on his own life experiences.

Tony Sandoval’s Fantasy Dreamworld collects the artist’s most famous works, including his brand new book, The Dragons of Paris. The collection features seven premium hardcovers with curved corners, Sotuv details and archival quality printing. In addition to the Dragons, supporters will be able to get Doomboy (2011), Watersnakes (2018), 1000 Storms (2020), A Shilce Backward (2015), Rendez-vous in Phoenix (2016), and The Windy Day (2019).

Phoenix’s rendezvous documented Sandoval’s visit to American girlfriends across the Mexican-US border, and encountered some of the problems immigrants faced as they tried to enter the country. The complete overview with a magnetic press is as follows:

Tony Sandoval was born and raised in northwestern Mexico. There, the temptation to cross the US border becomes a matter of heart. His urge to visit his American girlfriend, depicted by love, cannot wait for a long and frustrating visa process standing in the way of their relationship. So he makes the ultimate romantic gesture: he smuggles across borders despite the heat, coyotes, barbed wire, and the risks he faces most difficult.

An autobiographical account by three Eisner nominated author/artist, this is an honest and true story about the hot topic immigration issue of today’s news.

Tony’s story shows the personal costs of humanizing and crossing the issues of immigration. It reveals the challenges facing immigrants and how they must face the harsh reality of trying to make a living abroad. It shows how powerful love is and how it can drive people to risk everything for a better chance of living. Tony’s story serves as a reminder that no matter what, everyone deserves a chance to pursue happiness and love without restrictions.

Phoenix’s Rendez-Vous was first released in 2016 and is still deeply related to this day. Check out the exclusive preview below.

Tony Sandoval’s Fantasy Dreamworld campaign ends on Thursday, July 3rd.
