At this year’s Anime Expo, Kodansha made waves by revealing the spring 2026 manga slate. From the much-anticipated anniversary edition to the exciting new debut, the publisher’s upcoming lineup offers a powerful mix of fan favorites, innovative storytelling and collector-worthy editions.
The announcement headlines are new manga adaptations and original titles, including cult’s favorite video games, an unforgettable, heartfelt journey based on the whimsical Yuri story of evil social media influencers, and Weir.
Kodansha also thrilled longtime fans by bringing back his beloved classic. shugo chara! Celebrating the 20th anniversary with an updated edition with new covers and updated translations. Meanwhile, Mars in Fuyumisorio’s deep emotional shjo drama returns with the 30th anniversary edition of Deluxe Hardcover. Perhaps the gem of the crown of the announcement is the Ghost in the Shell Legacy Edition Manga Box set. This brings together the entire uncensored trilogy in a definitive collection filled with exclusive art, posters and collectors’ items.
