Superhero comics aren’t as adorable as Jeff the Landshark, the best boy of dog embarrassment pets created by author Kelly Thompson and artist Daniele Di Nikuoro. Thanks to the popularity demand, Marvel Comics has announced that Jeff the Land Shark’s new physical comic is scheduled to debut in June this year.

Jeff, which has grown in popularity within the past few years, has been a hit as a Marvel rival character and won the Eisner Award in the vertical Marvel Infinity comic series It’s Jeff! Originally a Petland Shark joke for Gwenpool, sharks have been adopted by other Marvel staples, such as Deadpool and Kate Bishop.

“It was wild to see Jeff Rockett in stardom and it was just him,” Thompson said. “I’m clearly biased enough to get you, but what do I don’t like about the adorable flat-house sharks that he wants to be friends with and/or eat with everything he sees. Is that?”

“We are excited that Jeff’s slow success in the comics and Jeff’s wildfire success in Marvel’s rivals can bring more complicated Jeff stories opportunities, not just Jeff’s story.” Thompson continued. “The Jeff series acts like a perfectly executed joke and I couldn’t love it more. But it’s exciting to take on the complicated story challenges you can get from the miniseries. ”

For more information, see Marvel’s press release.

Heavy from the star-making look at Marvel rivals, everyone’s favorite Walking Fishboy is sharpening his teeth for the launch of his first starring version of the miniseries! Superstar co-creator Kelly Thompson takes Jeff to Heights, a Jeff nominated for Jeff in Jeff Infinity Comics, and highly acclaimed artist Tokitokoro takes Jeff at Jeff the Land Shark Announced at Comicspro, where you won the adventure stake! In the 5 Islands Limited Series, Jeff works with friends he’s made over the years to take charge of several or more rivals, unlocking all-new abilities and creating a splash throughout the Marvel universe.

When he creates “Shadow Jeff” that aims to cause trouble, Jeff scrambles to undo his mistake. But when the shadow escapes to the floor, Jeff must obey if he intends to return the shadow to where it belongs. It’s an epic tour of Marvel’s universe as the adorable land shark chases his shadow from savage lands to Madripur and makes new friends and enemies along the way. Jeff needs everything he has to solve this problem and… regain his good name.
