The new SPIDER-GWEN storyline begins in March of this year, and the number 11 makes the story numerically consecutive (no reboots, oh well). Written by the incredibly talented Stephanie Phillips and with art by Paolo Villanelli, this new storyline takes Gwen into space in a new story where she teams up with Loki.
“We envisioned a Gwen and Loki storyline from the moment we started working on Gwen, so this arc feels like the culmination of everything we’ve been building,” Phillips said in a statement from Marvel. mentioned in. “Bringing Gwen into space allowed us to explore unexpected elements of her character, especially as her optimism and hope collide with King Loki’s nihilism. Paolo and I We’ve worked hard to make it a unique sci-fi adventure, one that’s dark and very personal to Gwen.”
