Invincible co-creator Robert Kirkman has repeatedly promised that the wait for Invincible season 3 won’t be as long as it was between seasons 1 and 2. He seems like a man of his word. Today, just before New York Comic Con, Prime Video released the Burger Mart-inspired teaser trailer for Invincible Season 3. This trailer announces the premiere date of the critically acclaimed adult animated superhero series co-produced by Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios. The first three episodes will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories starting Thursday, February 6, 2025, with additional episodes available every Thursday through March 13.
As revealed at San Diego Comic-Con a few months ago, fans can expect the title character to wear a brand new blue costume, just like in the original comics.
Invincible is based on the comic book series of the same name created by Kirkman, Corey Walker, and Ryan Ottley. The story follows 18-year-old Mark Grayson, the titular hero “Invincible,” whose father is Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on Earth. In Season 2, Mark had to overcome his fear of becoming like his father while also suffering from the betrayal of a friend. If you’ve read the original comic, you know that things only escalate. If you felt like Season 2 gave the multiverse a big hit, expect more multiverse shenanigans to come.
Invincible stars Steven Yeun as Invincible and JK Simmons as Omni-Man, as well as Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Gray Delisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Starring Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, and Andrew Rannells. Kevin Michael Richardson and Seth Rogen.
Executive producers are Kirkman, Rogen, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, and Evan Goldberg. Co-executive producers are Helen Lee and Corey Walker.
