Marvel has announced new information regarding the Elektra Daredevil series: This January, DAREDEVIL: UNLEASH HELL – RED BAND will feature a five-issue limited edition written by current Daredevil writer Erica Schultz and drawn by artist Valentina Pinti.
“It’s been a lot of fun continuing to write Elektra, especially growing her horns,” Schulz said in a Marvel press release. “With this new series, we have the opportunity to show that just because she doesn’t kill people doesn’t mean you won’t wish she did. Elektra is known for her brutality, and you can see that here, and with her red-band rating, she’s capable of some really brutal things. Does that make sense? You do. Valentina Pinti and I are incredibly excited to show you this new direction.”
RED BAND editions is Marvel’s continuing comics label used for more mature titles to attract adult fans. Comics such as Blood Hunt, Werewolf by Night and Wolverine: Revenge contain more violence than traditional Marvel comics and are sold in polybag editions to prevent children from opening them.

Elektra is the Marvel Universe’s most fearsome assassin, and this January her brutal talents will be on full display in DAREDEVIL: UNLEASH HELL – RED BAND. DAREDEVIL: UNLEASH HELL – RED BAND is the latest Marvel Red Band comic series, following Blood Hunt, Blade: Red Band, Werewolf by Night and Wolverine: Revenge. Comes with a parental advisory and polybagged to prevent the faint of heart from experiencing the intensity, the series sees Elektra as the fearless woman who continues to protect the streets of Hell’s Kitchen while unleashing limitless bloodshed on her targets.
