Marvel Comics has announced that Immortal Thor issue 19, on sale January 15th, will feature a procession of artists including Al Ewing and 19 other artists participating in the issue. This issue spotlights a variety of characters from Thor’s legendary mythology, each illustrated with a one-page story drawn by a different artist.
This issue features Dan Jurgens, Valerio City (Journey Into Mystery), CAFU (Jane Foster: Valkyrie), Lee Garbett (Loki: Agents of Asgard), and Immortal Martín Coccolo, the original artist behind Saw, will be making a comeback. Featuring a cover by Alex Ross, the issue opens with art by Humberto Ramos and Leonard Kirk, picking up plot threads introduced in Strange Academy and Avengers, Inc., respectively.

New York, NY — November 14, 2024 — The January issue of IMMORTAL THOR is destined to go down in Asgardian history as 19 artists come together to deliver an incredible journey through the kingdom of Thor.
As Thor gathers resources to deal with Utgard’s looming threat, IMMORTAL THOR #19 spotlights a variety of characters from Thor’s legendary mythology in one-page stories, each written by a different artist. is drawn by. The stories are connected by the mysterious perspective of an important hero from Thor’s past, who is set to return in next week’s IMMORTAL THOR #17.
IMMORTAL THOR #19 is created by artists Dan Jurgens, Valerio City (Journey Into Mystery), CAFU (Jane Foster: Valkyrie), Lee Garbett (Loki: Agents of Asgard), and Celebrating the return of original Immortal Thor artist Martin Coccolo to Asgard. Artists Humberto Ramos and Leonard Kirk’s pages feature plot threads introduced in Strange Academy and Avengers, Inc., respectively. The issue also reunites Ewing with past collaborators including Luciano Vecchio, Juan Cabal and David Baldeon. Series regular artist Jan Bazaldua opens and closes the issue, setting the stage for the title’s surprising next chapter.
