From the TMNT overview: Shredder #1
As a dark new power rises from the shadows of New York, a much darker power returns to the streets of the city for revenge. One of the most terrifying villains in cartoon history is back. It’s even more deadly than ever!
He has returned forever by the ordeal of insanity beyond his imagination, but Shredder is periodically different, betrayed by everyone around him, without a family of legs, and perhaps insane. When one of his former foot geniuses forms their own rival clans with hellish designs in New York, the recovering shredder must search deeper into the underworld of criminals, where old and new enemies discover what brings them to the edge of the shredder blade.
Batman famous writer Dan Watters: Dark Pattern, Nightwing, Lucifer, Six Fingers, and team with homesick pilot Michele Bandini (Batman Corporation, Spider-Man: City at War).

If you didn’t know, the IDW Godzilla Kai-sei era is here!
“Kaisei is the name of our universe’s energy. It really separates what we do from other variations. It seemed most fitting. Kaisei is why Godzilla’s heatray is green, and that’s the source of our hero’s power, and it’s the catalyst for all the mutations in our world. IDW editor Jake Williams told Beat. Check out the rest of the interviews in the new IDW Godzilla book!
From Godzilla #1:
In 1954 he experimented with a mysterious source of energy known as Kaisei, awakening Godzilla and many immortal Kaiju. Over the next few years, humanity was hit by almost constant monster attacks. Japan has begun to treat Kaiju like a natural disaster, but the American G-Force will fight, fight and fight while they understand that attempts to fight Godzilla will only exacerbate the threat.
The Americans have just discovered the ultimate tool in their battle with Kaiju. He is a young boy named Jasen, who has Godzilla powers. The mysterious Kaisei can be made available in the same vein as the Monster King, and this boy will either save the world or bring its fate.
