As announced earlier this week, the Alien Book and IDW Publishing are partnering. The Alien book continues to release brave titles, but it’s safe to say the release is under the radar. Currently, with IDW distribution, marketing push, sales analysis and logistic support, the title of the alien book along with Valiant Comics is likely to attract much attention.
“The IDW team has been extremely welcoming. This partnership allows for access to IDW’s great sales and operational teams, allowing creators to better position their work, and keeps producing the best possible comics.” “Aliens has big things planned for the remainder of 2025, including a renewal with Valiant Entertainment partners, including some new licensing properties where “Valiant Beyond” will be announced soon. This deal is a huge victory for alien books, IDW, Valiant, comic shops, and all readers and fans. ”
This deal maintains creative control in alien books. This includes future reboots of the brave universe beyond the initiative. This is a movement similar to the ultimate universe and the absolute universe reboot. Pairing IDW’s business with new and exciting versions of characters such as Xo Manowar, Bloodshot, and Shadowman could be a jerk that needs to be able to dance with the big dogs of superhero comics like they used to.
The news comes after a revival event announced and completed in 2025. Things were running smoothly after the “Path to Resurrection,” especially like Becky Clounan and Michael Conrad’s X-0 Manawar, but brave ones were delayed beyond the initiative.
Before getting a license to release Valiant Comics in 2023, publishers had a tough path, especially after much investment was made in the bloody films discussed in 2020 AIPT interviews.
Speaking as someone who covers Valiant and truly loves everything they did years ago, I am excited about the future of this line and hope that this new partnership will become the need for additional juice Valiant.
