As announced last month, starting with issue #6, artist Juan Ferreira will be joining the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series as an artist. It follows a lineup of acclaimed artists who each worked on issues spotlighting various Turtles and new villains. Today, The Beat is proud to exclusively reveal and solicit information on the cover of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #7, which will be released in comic shops on February 26, 2025.
Needless to say, IDW’s reboot of the TMNT continuity series was a huge success. More than 300,000 copies of the debut issue were ordered, making it the largest comic book release of 2024 so far. For comparison, Absolute Batman #1 reported 250k and GI Joe #1 reported 225k.
I’m sure they just said the TMNT were being chased when they returned to New York, not that the Foot Clan was taking over New York and running the police, firefighters, etc.

Chased by a new Foot-enhanced police force led by tenacious Sheriff Hieronymus Hale, the Turtle brothers must endure their worst gut punch yet. New York City is no longer safe for the TMNT, and our mutant heroes are forced to take drastic measures!
