Sometimes come manga that feel very packed with stories that make it seem like they’re not growing it beyond 12 issues. Suitable Case: Superman Treasury 2025: All #1 Heroes. Running 80 pages, which is by no means short, but the boy packs multiple heroes with many heroic moments, catching Superman against a logical threat within Canon.
DC Comics is entering the finance business on this issue. So it’s an artist’s showcase, and Bruno Redondo can do it with Spades. This book knows well enough how to increase the size of pages, capture your interests and evoke a sense of grandeur. After the first page turn, Superman’s double-page splash spikes towards the high-rise robot. Can you open it any more spectacularly?
Redondo, as always, does a great job with the character’s acting, giving him a sense of all the explosion. There are also multiple full-page splashes that tempt readers to choose physical formats and bypass digital. That’s exactly a good thing. Multiple pages increase the width of double pages. This is a sight to be seen.
An epic page turn.

When it comes to the story, Dan Jurgens does an incredible job of setting up multiple heroes and welcoming moments. It won’t ruin it much, but Steel has some epic moments that will help you buy some character. Wonder Woman has a real stake while fighting the Cyborg Superman. Even Rex has had plenty of heroic moments with Batman and…yeah, Superman Mia for a while. The book feels like a DC comic celebration, reminding you that Superman is Crown Jewel.
As long as the Superman story goes, he will shine brightly. We recall his weaknesses, but also how he will never be underestimated. By the end of the matter, you cheer him on and Jurgens pulls it apart with great appreciation.
Jurges also draws a fantastic montage sequence that you won’t miss. Jurgens behaves like the biggest hit sequence, reminding him of everything the character has experienced and why we love him. Jurges’ art is iconic at this point, and fits into the page turn of the mouse from punch to mouse when Redondo is revived.
You may have noticed that I have not mentioned the villain. That’s because it’s a big mystery to most of the problem. I argue that the mystery of who is messing around with people is a bit too long, but it’s great to feel that they fall into the myth of Superman and have naturally added to the story. There are lovely hooks that include John and their revenge. I won’t say it anymore!
Thrown into the mix is a mental manipulation that reminds me of my fear of losing Lois. This includes the influence of Lex and Lex Luthor. It’s a clever way to show Superman’s emotional weakness, so to speak.
Superman Treasury 2025: Hero for All #1 is a visually stunning, emotionally resonating epic that makes the most of its oversized form. It’s a heartfelt reminder of the outstanding moments of almost every major DC hero and the enduring power and legacy of Superman, and it’s a one-shot that feels like an event in itself. A love letter to the entire heroes of Superman and DC.
