Congratulations to Jeremy Adams, Xermanico and the rest of the Cosmic Creative Team. Issues #600 gets hot because not only is this current series problem #25, but also Legacy #592. So far, it’s a wild, emotional ride, the even parts are interesting, heartily expanding myths. This issue brings us deeper into the fallout of the recent bursts of the emotional spectrum. Starbreaker is ready to step up with the kids in the fractured spectrum and claim power before the lantern is ready, and yes, things are likely to be colorful.
DC
I enjoy the Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps titles, but the “Fractured Spectrum” arc acts like an expanded high stakes bridge and travels straight to this collision course. But it was worth the build. Along the way, we met a new “emotional lantern” like an idea that guides disgust, and a “happiness” that is exactly that. It was fun to watch the laces on both sides to collect key pieces across the lantern book. And now, everything comes to mind, and Jeremy Adams wastes no time in accelerating the pace. Both sides are charging towards their ultimate goal. Illuminate each power battery. And of course, the realist Guy Gardner is based on the moment with the perfect one-liner.
This issue takes us to Gemworld, a great deep cut location from the wider DCU. What’s refreshing is that each group’s goals feel urgent and authentic. It’s not just a race that will stop the other. It’s a common despair to restore what their version should be. Adams’ “All in” approach is now in full swing, drawing threads from Gemworld, Blue Beetle and even Green Lantern: The Animated series. Yes, there’s great humor about an animated ship flying backwards. Was it an accident or a joke? You decide.
DC
Xermanico and Romulo Fajardo Jr. provide art that is illuminated in every sense of the word. Their work is energy and crackling, from the emotional recharging of the characters to the stunning environment. Guy Gardner brings the Third Nick Edge, Starbreaker brings the threat, when Henry appears? The stakes rise sharply. It is a kind of scale and sight that reminds us why this execution is consistently strong.
With a script that combines sparkling visuals with heart, humor and high octane action, Green Lantern #25 is a thrilling payoff for build-ups and a promising set-up for what’s to come. The emotional spectrum is shifting in unexpected ways, and GLC needs every ounce of will to survive what is to come, both from within and outside. I hope they don’t feel anything when the dust settles down.

Green Lantern #25 unfolds Starbreaker hegemony by combining legacy, humor and deep cuts from the DC Universe with strong emotional interests. Jeremy Adams continues to expand the myth by weaving characters from animation, gemworld-like space corners, and bold new “emotional lanterns” with a unique perspective. As the troops of Lanterns and Starbreakers are surged towards epic conflict, this issue sets the stage for the major development that leads to Legacy #600. It’s a visually stunning and emotionally resonating chapter that reminds readers of how vast and personal the Green Lantern franchise is.

Adams makes great use of the wider DC universe, which incorporates elements of Gemworld and Blue Beetle Mythology without being forced to
The addition of unique characters such as Razer and Aya, Aidia (Happy), “Happy” adds fresh emotional layers and exciting possibilities for future storytelling
Guy Gardner remains an outstanding character, injecting humor and grounded perspectives, passing through the story’s universe scales and at his expense brings perfect laughs
As Xermanico and Romulo Fajardo Jr., the dynamic art and tone change. Balance between character emotions and large-scale action
The story may feel a bit sudden or disorientated for those who have not followed both the Green Lantern titles, or for those who have not closely tracked both the fractured spectral arcs
