A humorous and (mostly) true account of the golden age of skullduggies, adventurers, and scurvy dogs.

Get ready for a legend of brave pirates! PIRATES: A GRAPHIC HISTORY is a 160-page nonfiction graphic novel that delves into the real-life lives of pirates and the romantic adventurers they are often portrayed in pop culture. It is made clear that it is not. With a sense of humor and a carefully researched history, Silvani, a longtime illustrator for Disney comics and various publishers, spent over five years researching pirates and brought this stunningly illustrated and humorous journey to Kickstarter. I did.

Koguchi Comics: 2024-25 Comic Collection

A new original manga-inspired comic book by ALXNDRA COOK, Bon Idle, and Kyle Fewell.

Koguchi Comics features original manga-inspired comics from creators around the world. They’re back on Kickstarter again to fund a new wave of great-looking comics. Sparrowsong is a magical story of love and desire as a woodcutter, his wife, and a mythical sparrow explore an unconventional romance. In Sword Hunt 2, heroic dad and goblin Roscoe race to retrieve a stolen demon sword and save their city from destruction. Finally, Cryomemory is a fast-paced cyberpunk thriller in which assassin Lenny uncovers his sister’s memories inside his cybernetic body, raising questions of trust and identity. This project has something for everyone. Cool projects like this don’t come along very often and I can’t recommend them enough.

Red light characteristics

Creator: Dan Goldman (Writer/Artist/Creator) Goal: $10,000
End date: October 30th
Bonus: Get a digital copy for $10, Standard Edition for $50, Deluxe for $100. At the higher end, you can get autographed deluxe bundles for things like $200.

Haunted Miami real estate, psychedelics, family drama, and Santeria collide as Dan Goldman’s cult tropical horror comic series returns!

Eisner Award-nominated writer and artist Dan Goldman created Red Light Property as a webcomic in 2010. And now it’s back on Kickstarter with this new supersized compilation. The story is about Jude, a psychic real estate agent who cleans up a haunted house with the help of psychedelics, and his wife Cecilia, who handles everything else, including the tedious daily tasks of supernatural work. Straddling the turmoil of the spiritual world and American capitalism, each ghost story delves deep into themes of love, loss, and clairvoyance, all imbued with a gritty Florida “tropical horror” vibe. This book is made for fans of Better Call Saul, combining The Shining with a little psychedelia. Don’t miss this release!

bucket brigade

Author: CME_T (Writer/Artist/Creator)
Goal: $3,000
End date: November 7th

The first combined edition of CME_T’s manga depicting the activities of a group of adventurers.

CME_T’s webcomic has finally been collected as a 160+ page graphic novel. His hilarious TTRPG-inspired comic, The Weekly Roll, follows the unpredictable adventures of a war criminal paladin, a mushroom-addicted sorcerer, a murderous warrior’s girlfriend, and a necromancer on the run for tax evasion. I’m drawing a party. This comic is phenomenal. If you’re a fan of Dungeons & Dragons or other fantasy series, you should check out this project.

space pop cats

Creators: Brandon Ellison (Writer/Creator), Benjamin Paulus (Artist), Jodie Troutman (Letterwriter), Carmen Helle (Production Manager)
Goal: $1,526
End date: October 31st
Bonus: Get a digital copy for $10, a standard cover set for $20, a variant cover set for $35, or at a higher level, a gold foil cover set for $49, and more.

In this gritty comic book series, a relentless evil threatens the universe, and the Space Pop Cats are the universe’s last hope against doom.

Our image of this project is incorrect. Space Pop Cats is definitely great, with great art, great characters, and an interesting storyline for a comic centered around a skilled pilot’s voyage to Mars that fails after crash-landing and being discovered. An ancient crystal that connects them to their giant cat guardians, the Space Pop Cats. This project is great and our 60 backers agree. Don’t miss this project!

Barada & Nikto’s raid comic anthology double feature!

Producer: Raid Press
End date: October 29th
Bonus: Get a digital copy for $15, a physical copy for $29, a double feature for $55, or a premium showcase for $84 at a higher level.

A genre-driven anthology series featuring 90 stories from the imaginations of over 60 international creators spread across 6 oversized books.

The anthology immediately caught our attention, with the project offering 90 different stories in one night for $15. This is amazing and unusual in this day and age, so The Beat asked us what this project has to offer and who’s working on it. I was happy to see over 60 different creators working on this project with their own writing and art styles across a variety of genres. We’re so hooked that it would be remiss of us not to recommend their work to you. Please check it out!

twisted unidentified planet

Goods: Kickstarter exclusive games for $29, games and expansions for $39, deluxe bundles for $139, or at higher tiers, you can get deluxe bundles for $139 and more.

A legendary strategy tabletop game from the creators of Here to Slay and Casting Shadows.

As you can see, this is no ordinary crowdfunding release. Twisted Cryptids is a board game centered around a cryptid who feels alienated and tries to become a true legend. You’ll play against your friends to learn how to outwit them and bring your favorite cryptid to legendary status. The game is a lot of fun, but this is their last call! Check it out before it’s too late.
