Goats Flying Press announces new titles before its second anniversary

One of the most interesting publishers in the crowdfunding space, Goats Flying Press has released three new comics for 2026, with a list of creators including Juni BA, Igor Kordey, Jimmy Li and more.

The announcement comes as part of the stretch goal of Goat’s 2nd Anniversary Indie Comic Showcase Kickstarter campaign, which was fully fundraised on Wednesday. Today, Beat is honoured to reveal an exclusive new book.

So far, Goats Flying Press has run four consecutive successful Kickstarter campaigns (5 if you count five current campaigns) including one of the most talked about and most successful last year, the F-scenes of BA and Letterer Aditya Bidikar’s Erlking Wood. The book features BA’s unique take on building a new folktales.

However, the output of goats varies. Earlier this year, the publisher funded the Lake Yellowwood massacre from author Alejandro Arbona, artist Gavin Guidley, colorist Chris O’Halloran and letter Hassan Ottoman Elhau. The book is a metaski horror, and the catchphrase of reading: The graphic novel “Adaptation” of the 1983 novel film!

And this new slate looks just as diverse. Veteran comic artist Igor Cordy adapts Darko Macan’s short story. There is also work from newcomers, including Jimmy Lee, who delivers the book that Goats Flying Press editor Sebastian Girner describes as “one of the most memorable debuts we’ve seen in a young artist.” Finally, the third book is the heart of clockwork, which actually comes from the reward layer of the Erlking Wood Kickstarter campaign.

You can find a 12-page preview of each of these new books below, complete creator credits, plot overview, and a 12-page preview below.

My siblings in Texas

Written and drawn by Igor Kordey

Igor is a legend in the comic industry. My brother, a true “artist artist” who was a veteran in the industry for over 50 years and worked with children in Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Heavy Metal and Texas, adapted from the Darko Makan short stories. Texas Kid.

Nighthawks

Written and drawn by Jimmy Lee

The Nighthawks wake up to each other with three young men, strangers, and wake up confused after a New Year’s house party, and the house awakens in eternal black blank. The Nighthawks combine fear, humor and existentialism. It explores and is shaped by what happens to your identity when you are stripped of the world.

The heart of clockwork

Written by Joe Atala

Arts such as Juni Ba, Armand Bodnar, Dimitrios Pantazis

Clockwork Mind is an anthology project that spins from The Curse of Osiris, a custom comic created with writer (and artist and architect) Joe Atala. A creepy adventure manga that follows the adventures of the great British gentleman adventurer (he is both a skeleton), Sir Reginald, and his ghostly butler Mr. Spittle.

And as a final reminder, Goats Flying Press has its 2nd Anniversary Kickstarter, which is currently a live show. There are new goat products, and so far there are opportunities to purchase the publisher-wide output, and two new comics.

The first is the deaths and damned #3 by Sebastian Garner and Kelly Williams (more on this series here). And a new gnarly (free) body horror comic called Consumption from artists Jack Mandrake and Garner.
