Many recruitment and job movements have been announced over the past few weeks. This is your roundup!
§President Kevin Roditeri, co-founder of a large publisher, is leaving to pursue his creative career. Three years later with Massive, which he co-founded with Michael Carrero and Trevor Richardson, Roditeli focuses on creating his debut film.
“My energy and focus is now completely dedicated to creation,” he wrote in a statement. “Balancing publishing with my projects has been a challenge, but my mind has never stopped racing. I am ready to develop dozens of stories. I want to work with passionate artists and publishers to push the boundaries of comics. It’s exciting to be in a unique position as a freelance creator who has successfully made a crowdfunding campaign and sold millions of comics to local stores.”
In Massive, Roditelli wrote bad foreboding music-focused. The concrete jungle and his creator were washed. He will continue to be involved in series owned by another Massive creator and upcoming licensing projects. He is also launching www.kevinroditeli.com.

§Ignition Press still raps the title lineup, but they hired more people to publish those books and now announced who: Maggie Howell, director of marketing Bre Sarpy and senior editor at Zelio Pereira. The book will be released in mid-2025, so we look forward to its announcement!
Maggie Howell joined Ignition Press as a senior editor in early January, and in her new role, along with editor-in-chief Jamie S. Rich, will oversee and build the publisher’s new editorial department, editing many of the publisher’s upcoming original projects. Howell previously participated in DC Comics, writing for Black Label, Dizziness and IDW Publishing. Among her projects are Hill House Comics and the Sandman Universe Line, and Batman: DC’s White Night Universe. I co-edited the 2024 TMNT reboot in IDW Howell, leading up to the upcoming imprint IDW Dark, edited under the trees no one could see.
Bre Sarpy will oversee and build the publisher’s new marketing division, along with publisher Filip Sablik. Past companies include Skybound and Boom! The studio she worked for Brzrkr is something that kills kids, the Walking Dead, and invincible. Most recently I worked for Marketing/PR Firm Team Click.
