Amazon Prime Day is just around the corner, and there are already a lot of sales going on. For example, you can save up to $100 on the Oura Ring. Discounts vary depending on which design you choose. The Stealth Horizon design is $350 in all sizes, while many standard colors are $300. However, the gold option jumps to $450. Prices also vary depending on whether you choose the rounded Horizon design or the more blocky Heritage design.
Oura
For the uninitiated, the Oura Ring is a smart wearable that tracks your activity, sleep, and more. The main benefit of choosing a smart ring over other types of fitness trackers is portability. It’s a lightweight ring, so you’ll forget you’re wearing it after a few days. The official review calls the Oura Ring “the perfect wearable for people who don’t like wearables.” It also made it to our list of best sleep apps and gadgets.
The device monitors more than 20 vital signs and is particularly accurate in reading pulses. Oura Ring is also compatible with most of the most popular fitness tracking apps, including Apple Health, Strava, and Google Health Connect. Many of the designs are very attractive and you can easily use the device as a regular non-technical ring.
The downside is that many of Ring’s features are locked behind a subscription paywall. You get one month free with your first purchase, then it costs $6 per month. It’s also worth noting that this deal is for the third generation Oura Ring. The 4th generation device was officially released on October 15th and is smaller and has improved tracking capabilities.
