The organizers of the Uncanny Experience have revealed the convention exclusive Uncanny X-Men #3, which is available online and worldwide. The alternate cover, drawn by Tyler Kirkham, pays homage to the 1992 Jim Lee Danger Room trading card set. In this comic, Storm is in the same position in the top left corner of the card, but Beast appears behind her in a new dynamic pose. The Uncanny Experience exclusive version features Storm wearing the classic Giant-Size X-Men uniform created by Dave Cockrum. The comic is courtesy of Unknown Comics.
The comic is currently available for pre-order at the Uncanny Experience store, where it will also be available for various signing sessions, with the comic being autographed by series writer Gail Simone, cover artist Tyler Kirkham, Allison Seely Smith, the voice of Storm from X-Men ’97 and X-Men: The Animated Series, and George Buza, the voice of Beast from those shows.
The Uncanny Experience will take place in Minneapolis, MN the weekend of September 28th and 29th.
