Get $20 off Google’s new 4th generation Nest Learning Thermostat

Google’s latest 4th generation Nest Learning Thermostat has been launched just one month after the product’s launch. The device is $20 off via Wellbots, bringing the price down to $260. Just enter the code “20ENGNLT4” at checkout. This is a record low price, especially since it was just released.

This is not an iterative improvement to the previous Nest Learning Thermostat. Completely redesigned with a new look and many updated features. The LCD display is 60% larger than the one found on older 3rd generation devices, and has a curved front so you can no longer see the bezel. The whole thing is basically a screen.

This large display allows you to customize the face like a smartwatch, allowing for a variety of customizations. Sometimes it looks like a regular analog clock. Thanks to the integrated Soli radar sensor, the UI automatically adjusts what’s displayed on the screen depending on your distance from the thermostat.

The new Nest is powered by AI, which aims to provide more accurate readings and potential actions to save money on your monthly energy bills. This is a smart thermostat, so it can be programmed to operate on its own depending on the ambient temperature and other factors.

To that end, it comes with a wireless temperature sensor that can be placed anywhere within range. Each Nest can integrate up to six of these sensors, and more are available for $40 each or three for $100. This item also comes with a trim plate to cover up imperfections in the paint or drywall, and a steel plate for installing the electrical box. Also, the third generation Nest was introduced in 2015, so it is considered relatively future-proof.
