Image Comics has released the cover art for Geiger #12 and #13. Both feature Ashley Arden (aka “Shining Woman”) and tie into Tariq Guyger’s early days after becoming “Shining Man.” The next issue of Geiger, created by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank, arrives in comic shops on February 12th.

“Ashley’s story is just beginning,” Johns said. “Gary and I are excited to finally show fans who Growing Woman is, what drives her as a character, and what her powers, abilities, and mission mean to Tariq. I can’t wait.”

“Gary and I have hit a new gear with this book, and we have no intention of slowing down,” Johns continued. “The story will get even bigger from here, and we’ll see more connections between Geiger, Junkyard Joe, Redcoat, Northerner, and other new characters in the unnamed shared universe we’ll be introducing soon. I can’t wait to show it to you.”

Check out the cover below.

PORTLAND, Ore., January 13, 2025 — Turns out Tariq Geiger isn’t the only radioactive outcast fighting for survival in the world of The Unnamed. It’s a moment eerily reminiscent of Geiger’s own debut in Geiger Vol. 1 #1, a hooded Ardyn greets the heroes with suspicion. Look for her to have a huge impact on Geiger’s post-nuclear war world going forward.

“Ashley’s story is just beginning,” Johns said. “Gary and I are excited to finally show fans who Growing Woman is, what drives her as a character, and what her powers, abilities, and mission mean to Tariq. I can’t wait.”

The next issue of Geiger’s ongoing adventures (Geiger #11) has a final order deadline of Monday, January 20th for comic shop retailers. Retailers are encouraged to reconfirm orders and adjust as necessary to meet reader demand.
