A story of heroes, impossible armor, ghosts, and people centuries apart trying to prevent their world from falling apart.
A century ago, a portal opened over Central America, Tezza passed through, and everything we knew changed. Now, the world is focused on building the Iron King. The Iron King is a great mech driven by pilots who fight Tezza for the survival of humanity in gladiator combat. War has become a sport. Star jockey Anita Marr has been chosen to pilot a secret new prototype that could turn the tide in humanity’s favor.
However, after experiencing a difficult first battle together, Anita begins to uncover and understand the unusual connection that is forming between herself and the experimental new Iron King, Dawn Runner. As Tezza’s threat grows, Anita, Dawnrunner, and their secrets become humanity’s last hope. Are we doomed, or will a dramatic revelation transcend Anita and the Dawn Runner into something new?
