9mm Girl – gritty urban fantasy action
Creator: SK6
Goal: $518
End date: March 21st
Goods: Get a digital copy for $10, a physical copy for $30, or a collector’s card bundle for $35, or a target audience marked with the high class for $35.
Two friends running a security business face devils and secrets and test their skills, friendship and survival in a world of chaos.
The 9mm girl immediately caught my attention and reminded me of Gunsmith’s cat. It has the perfect mix of powerful, independent women and high octane action. Aya and Hazel, tough nail duoes at the heart of the city’s fantasy, run a private security company in a world where the boundary between humanity and demons is dangerous and blurry. What sets the 9mm girl apart is its deep character development and the way it explores the costs of trust, survival and power. It’s not just about devil-decorating action (but there are plenty of them). It is about facing fear, unraveling the past and questioning the meaning of truly surviving. I was forced to jump at explaining the characters in the project. Here you will find a real heart, along with a perfect mix of fantastic art and dark humor, intense drama and emotional depth. It’s one of those comics that you’ll sit and notice, and it’s a kind of indie project that reminds you of how independent creators can really rival large companies with its sharp black and white visuals. It’s definitely something to check out and make sure you do it quickly. It’s only one more day.
