DC Comics has revealed that Two-Face will get his own solo series from creators Christian Ward and Fabio Bellas, with colors by Ivan Plascencia and letters by Hassan Otsmane Elhau. The series, which hits shelves December 4th, is part of DC’s “All In” and will explore Harvey’s Perry Mason-like life as a lawyer and how the evil Harvey is seeking not only partial control of his body, but total control of his mind.

“After falling in love with Harvey’s beautiful and complex portrayal in Batman: City of Madness, I couldn’t be more excited and proud to be writing Two-Face’s first solo series,” said Ward. “Two-Face is without a doubt not only my favorite Batman villain, but my favorite character in all of Gotham. Working with legends like aspiring superstar artist Fabio Bellas, colorist Ivan Plascencia and letterer Hassan Otzman El-Hau, I am excited to take Two-Face to some wild places you might not expect, with the first scene seeing Harvey Dent return to the courtroom.”

So, what is Two-Face?

After years of internal conflict, the two halves of Harvey Dent have reached an uneasy peace. In DC’s new Two-Face series, Harvey will use his skills as a lawyer to resolve conflicts between Gotham’s strangest and most dangerous criminals, including Victor Zsasz. When Zsasz is accused of murdering an associate of Gotham’s underworld, who better to prove the criminal’s innocence than someone who’s experienced both sides of the law?

“In this series, Harvey uses his criminology skills to try to solve the conflicts among Gotham’s strangest and most dangerous crime families… all the while he has his sights set on returning to civilization and perhaps reconciling with his old friend Bruce Wayne,” said Ward. “So, all rise, court is in session, Harvey is flipping a coin, and the verdict is in!”

Today, DC announced “Two-Face,” a new limited comic series from creators Christian Ward and Fabio Bellas, the first to feature Gotham City’s notorious super-villain (and sometime good guy) Harvey Dent. Following in the tradition of their recently concluded villain-centric comic series, “The Penguin,” DC’s new “All In” series, “Two-Face,” explores the good and bad sides of Harvey Dent as two characters who operate and live in the same body. While good Harvey lives a Perry Mason-like life as a lawyer, bad Harvey wants not just partial control of his body, but total control of his mind.
