According to Bloomberg’s Mark Garman, Apple Intelligence will begin rolling out on October 28th. Apple announced last month that it planned to release iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1 (bringing some of the first Apple Intelligence features to iPhone 16 and other Apple devices) in October, but has not confirmed No decision was made. The first round of Apple Intelligence features includes a text editor and summarization tool, Writing Tools, plus smart audio recording and transcription for Mail, Notes, Pages, and other apps.
We might also see a new Memory feature in Photos, designed as an easy-to-use editor for creating movies using images from your gallery, and a cleanup feature that lets you remove objects from image backgrounds. Other Apple Intelligence features, such as ChatGPT integration and Genmoji, are expected to arrive in new versions of iOS 18 rolling out by the end of the year or early 2025.
