“Michael and I love adding to the complex and established legacy of Dick Tracy, and these holiday specials provide the perfect opportunity,” Segura said in the announcement. “We’re introducing a new killer villain with strong ties to those that came before, and introducing Tracy and Sam as partners in an unforgettable and thought-provoking case! Craig is the perfect partner and we’re so lucky to be working with him on this production.”
“We’re thrilled to have Tim and Rebecca on board. Their stories are amazing,” said Moreci. “It’s just a thrill to keep Dick Tracy alive while finding new voices and new stories. And what Alex and I have created is so exciting to me. This may be our most powerful effort yet!”
Seeley added, “Dick Tracy, managed by Mike and Alex, is something of a modern-day Eisner spirit, with the title character acting as a tour guide to a quirky and wonderful world filled with great characters. I had the pleasure of working with one of my favorite collaborators, Rebecca Isaacs, on Acre O’Reilly, a nine-foot cab driver, a big-hearted Irish-American who’s having a bad St. Patrick’s Day.”
Dick Tracy: St. Patrick’s Day Special will be available digitally and at local comic shops on March 11, 2026. FOC is February 16th, so you can head to your local shop and pre-order.
