Last month, DC announced a full 32-character lineup that will compete in upcoming DC KO and event series. Written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Javi Fernandez, the storyline sees DCU heroes and villains stabbing in a tournament-style brawl of chances to face King Omega and Darkseid. Although edited, today’s publisher has released details for the eight rounds that will take place in December with various tie-in issues and one-shot specials.
Author Scott Snyder provided:
“When Josh and I came up with KO, we realised that this big tournament, where all the characters are involved, has a full-scale brawl section.” “As a result, a month of Slugfests fans have been speculating for decades. These are special one-shot issues tied to the main story of DC KO and showing a cruel showdown between friends and enemies. Some results will shock you.
The publisher keeps the matchup a secret, but fans will need to tune it on October 11th. Joshua Williamson and Scott Snyder reveal all the (edited) opponents of the Battle Month during the next panel of S DC KO: New York Comic Con.
