EC Cruel Kingdom # 2 Review

ONI Press’ New Fantasy Anthology EC CRUEL KINGDOM hit the gate immediately from the gate, can the second problem this week be maintained? EC comics have a new life through science fiction and horror anthology, but how about anthology focusing on fantasy? Considering the first issue, considering that there were more science fiction in the fantasy story than expected, this week’s problem is 100 % fantasy story, which may be a step -up.

The EC cruel kingdom # 2 has three stories, all length. The first is literally a magical sword fantastrope, the second is the burning of the witch, and the third is the price of being the king. All three stories have twists, and more gaes and others are looking for a little comedy.

The first story is “rare immunity” by Chris Kondon and PJ Holden. The story begins outside the Waltone outside the castle. The conqueror took the castle and a sword. It gives you an “immunity” in the battle. Before being talked about such a blade, he spends his day hanging out of the enemy’s head. Obviously, conquerors who are suffering from Blood Last can be seen through all kinds of goblin and excellent montage that kills enemies. Eventually, he decided to go home with some serious damage.

The problem is how much damage you can do before you can recognize it. The conqueror is a difficult truth that the conqueror must learn how difficult it is when his people witnessed him. Holden maximizes a twist with a terrible gore you are nauseous in a good way.

The next story is “Witch’s Hammer” by Steve Niles and Andrea Mutti. Art has a painting quality that adds a supernatural touch opened in Mystery Forest. Women are considered a witch, but are immediately rescued by the mask. She looks innocent for all intentions and purpose, but there is another delicious twist for the reader by the end of the story.

This story becomes a slightly longer wave, picking up valuable pages and adding a twist. It may have left what you wanted and was in another direction to give readers more.

Last but not least, it is “Power’s seat” by Cameron Tit and David Rafum. It opens with two prince, a court clothing that is chess. We learn that the king is hidden through their conversation, and no one knows why. I would like to clarify what happened to their father so that he could hold power, is that really worth it?

Mutti draws a joke before and after them and brings you close to their thoughts. Several twists and turns show the true attitude of the character and clarify that they will satisfy the meaning of being the king. Be careful of what you want.

EC CRUEL KINGDOM # 2 improves an approach that focuses on fantasy and offers interesting anthology with creative twists, but some stories that are consistent in consistent pacing are perfect for that possibility. Prevents it from reaching.

“EC CRUEL KINGDOM” # 2 provides twisted anthology

EC Cruel Kingdom # 2

EC CRUEL KINGDOM # 2 improves an approach that focuses on fantasy and offers interesting anthology with creative twists, but some stories that are consistent in consistent pacing are perfect for that possibility. Prevents it from reaching.

A powerful and imaginative twist that enhances storytelling.

“Rarely immunity” is an impressive and terrible visual, effectively providing both action and horror.

The painting style of “Witch’s Hammer” enhances its creepy and supernatural tone.

“Witch’s hammer” drags the story and takes too long to add a twist.

The short form of anthology feels that some stories are slightly undeveloped or hurry in their conclusions.
