Dynamite moves have been rejected – but you can still buy their cartoons

The motion to facilitate the hearing through the $509,000 dynamite owes to diamond was rejected yesterday. An emergency hearing was held to approve another emergency hearing, but the rejected words were engraved on the movement – quite clear.

A hearing on the issue was previously set for Wednesday, July 16th, but it will move forward. Dynamite now owes more than $1 million in debt and, according to the claim, it hoped the hearing would rise as it could not perform payroll next week.

It’s not very clear where this leaves dynamite, but it’s clearly not good. Until they announced their move to Lunar on June 19th, Diamond is the exclusive distributor of dynamite to US comic shops, with the majority of their stock currently in Diamond’s warehouse. If the announced sale of consignment shares is approved, dynamite has no more stock.

Remove the reporter’s hat for a moment: Dynamite is a valuable part of the comic industry, publishing many good comic books and paying many creators and staff. I doubt that dynamite will have a kind of crowdfunder sale to raise funds for this. For one thing, no one could get the book because diamonds had them and even if they shipped them they wouldn’t pay for the dynamite.

But Dynamite runs a humble bundle at the moment, but there are 49 Disney comics, including Gargoyles, Lilo & Stitch, The Lion King, and Darkwing Duck. Humble Bundle offers digital downloads of these comics. When you purchase this humble bundle, it will be sent directly to Dynamite and will also support Charity First Book. The goals are:

First Book is a non-profit social enterprise that provides new books and educational resources to programs and schools that serve children in need. By creating new, high quality books and resources that are available continuously, the first book changes the lives of children in need and improves the quality of education. For more information, please visit www.firstbook.org.

Buy this humble bundle and great comics for kids of all ages will do some great comics at very reasonable prices, support dynamite in legal battles, and help underprivileged children read the book. So, as far as I’m concerned, it’s win-win.

If that’s not your Cuppa, Dynamic Force, the sister company of Dynamite, runs Kickstarter for a set of Pope Leo XIV trading cards. White Sox fans unite!
