Dynamite Entertainment has launched a Kickstarter for a special set of Transformers trading cards to celebrate the series’ 40th anniversary. This collection offers fans the opportunity to add unique cards to their collection, including exclusive Chase cards. Currently live, Kickstarter offers multiple options for fans of all ages to participate and obtain collector items.

The trading cards featured in this set and campaign bring together a wide range of visions of everyone’s favorite characters. Hasbro’s vaults have been opened, and set designers and curators have pulled out classic artwork, representing some of the world’s top artists. The focus of this set is on the original, iconic “Generation 1” era and series continuity. This includes some of the most beloved characters from both the Autobots and Decepticons, such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream, Ironhide, Soundwave, and other classics.
The traditional series offers packs of 10 cards each and features a combination of 110 base cards, 110 holofoil parallel cards, and a special chase subset. These subsets include cards signed by Bob Budiansky and Simon Fuhrman, as well as hundreds of individually drawn sketch cards.
Deluxe Ultra Premium Series packs each contain 7 cards and are packaged in exclusive mini boxes. Each pack is guaranteed to include 2 base cards, 2 sketch cards, 1 line art card, 1 signed creator card, and 1 connecting card, making it a rare collectible option for fans .
