Marvel has shut out the next big thing panel in San Diego Comics-2025, and is the final chapter of One World under Doom, an epic event series with Ryan North and RB Silva, reshaping the Marvel Universe for the past year. Released this November, #9 shows Doom’s horrifying rise conclusions and potentially his catastrophic fall.
The dramatic cover of Ben Harvey’s one world under Doom #9 revealed in the panel suggests the collapse of Doom’s domination, despite his final spell leaving an irreversible scar on reality. After defeating the heroes of the Earth and locking up his victory with the magician’s highest power, Doom may have unconsciously sealed his destiny. Fallout from his final decision is set to change everything, with a new magician likely rising after him.
Fans have also been treated with a mystical teaser image by Devmalya Pramanik, introducing candidates for its coveted magical title, suggesting that the battle for mystical domination will not end.
When North teased, “There’s no way he’s doing what he’s doing without consequences.” Also, issue 9 concluded the series, but he promised that major developments would still be in issue 8.
Stay tuned as we consider the Marvel Universe to come at the end of the Doom era and afterwards. One world under Doom #9 will be in the comic shop on November 5th, 2025.
