Rebellion has unveiled Ghost Patrol, the next major Rogue Trooper storyline, which will graced the 2000 pages in time for the September Jump-On issue of The Weekly Anthology Comic. Written by Alex De Canti and depicted by Neil Edwards, Ghost Patrol promises to dig deeper into the secret origins of Rogue himself.
According to the press release:
“This week’s first look heat of Duncan Jones’s director Rogue Trooper film will come to the screens in 2026. This September, Jumping in 2000 Advertisement The Comics, Ghost Patrol explores the history of creating his fellow GI Comer Deaths.
The Rogue Trooper is a genetically modified soldier raised to withstand the toxic human lands of a devastated war planet, seeking traitors who betray him and his late comrades. The series was created by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons and debuted in 1981 in 2000 AD Prog 228.
Ghost Patrol will be released on September 17th in the UK and online (and on October 29th) with Prog Pack, which will ship to the US on October 29th, and will be launched with the Prog2450. The same issue will also see the revival of the scheduled clockwork punk series Brass Sun. The next issue, Prog 2451, will be able to see the new Rob Williams screenplay judge dread storyline, along with artist Henry Flint.
This Rogue Trooper story promises to be kind to new readers as he struggled to build a story featuring Rogue and his world ahead of the adaptation of the film that was written and directed by Duncan Jones in 2026.
Teasing what to expect, author Alex de Canti said:
“Rogue Trooper: Ghost Patrol has plunged into the secret history of epic, action-filled genetic infantry and lost soldiers, and their skills were used to build them.”
He added that there’s something for both old fans and newcomers:
“There are many riffs and mentions to Duncan’s upcoming roguetrooper films.
“You absolutely need to know zero about the Rogue Trooper to get it. This is (Chad Faith) “Chapter 1, Friends.” ”
Neil Edwards said he’s working on the story:
“I really enjoy working on future war stories and portraying injustice, and all the future techniques are amazing. The script is super super and there are lots of action and twists and turns!”
