Dark Horse Books has announced the latest story arc in the epic saga of Grendel Comics, “Grendel: Devil’s Crucible – Defiance,” in a single, complete volume. The hardcover, available on March 4, 2025, will include issues #1-4.

So, what kind of game is Grendel: Devil’s Crucible—Defiance?

Grendel Prime has returned home after years of searching the cosmos for a replacement Earth, but things are not the same as when he left. The remaining human population in this post-apocalyptic world is ruled by the Necrolords, and all things Grendel are banned! Grendel Prime must hide his true identity as he explores his suddenly hostile home planet. Is there still a place for him here?
