On today’s retailer panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Comics unveiled a stunning new round cover of Deadpool/Batman #1, a hot Marvel/DC crossover one-shot hit shelf, on September 17th.

Dauterman’s variant pays homage to George Pérez’s iconic Infinity Gauntlet #1 cover and teases several surprise team-ups, including the newly announced Rocket Raccoon and Green Lantern Story by Cosmic Maestro Al Ewing and artist Dike Ruan. “The pairing felt random at first,” Ewing said.

Johnson’s variants feature two Jack Kirby Titans (that and big balda) lined up with each other in an epic showdown, but Frank Miller’s contributions go beyond cover art.

Deadpool/Batman #1 is followed by Batman/Deadpool #1, which was published by DC in November. Both issues include bonus stories featuring more Marvel/DC crossovers. Pre-order now at your local comic shop.
