The October lineup of PlayStation Plus games catalog is certainly filling. From classic zombie fare to story-driven adventures, there’s something for everyone. Let’s take a look.
The biggest draw here is probably dead Island 2. For a while I didn’t know if this game would come out, but it did and it’s a blast to play. The action-packed zombie-slaying sim is set in Los Angeles and boasts six playable characters. There is a three -player coordination play, and of course, there is a gore expression more than swinging a bloody baseball bat. This game is available on both PS4 and PS5.
Gris is a stylish 2D platformer that was a bona fide hit when it was released a few years ago. This game is powerful in graphics and atmosphere, as we said it “might be the most beautiful” game ever made. This is a relaxing game that combines puzzles, search and platform jumps. The development team is developing another game called Neva, which also looks very good.
It took 13 years, but a new entry has finally been added to the Monkey Island franchise. As first seen in several iconic Lucasfilm titles from the 1990s, the comedic adventures of Guybrush’s Threepwoods continue as we return to Monkey Island. The review was favorable, and many players evaluated it as returning to the true tone. As a warning, this is an old -fashioned adventure with roots in the point and click genre.
These are Big 3, but this month’s drop includes Ghost Busters. Also included are Spirits Unshed, Overpass 2, Tour de France 2023, Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, and more. PlayStation Premium members also get a few games for PS VR2, including The Last Clockwinder and Dino Crisis.
