AEW (All Elite Wrestling) has announced the DC X AEW, a second-issue crossover event with DC Comics written by Steve Orlando and by Travis Mercer (Absolute Power: Super Son). The book, in which DC and AEW’s most well-known headliners collaborate to “recover big galactic belts and prevent cosmic catastrophes,” will debut in a “special preview edition” at New York Comic Con (October 9-11).

The series is available from Comics Shops, Shopaew.com and available at select live AEW events in 2026. It will be the subject of two NYCC panels.
Friday, October 10th at 5pm (Javits Center, Room 409) “Heroes, Villains, Spaces Between: Pro Wrestling and Manga Storytelling.” The discussion looks at where the world of wrestling and comics converges within AEW.
Saturday, October 11th at 3pm (Javits Center, DC Comics Booth #4365: Meet Aew Stars Jon Moxley, Willow Nightingale, Swerve Strickland and Orange Cassidy, along with Steve Orlando, Lucas Meyer and Travis Mercer from DC for a special signature. This signature wristband is available at the DC booth Saturday morning from 10am to 11am.
The preview issue of the series coincides with the beginning of DC’s latest crossover event, DC KO, scheduled to be released on October 8th. So, various titles of the event feature DC X AEW variant covers in which wrestlers and superheroes get caught up in the pits with each other. The collaboration will peak at AEW’s annual event, Full Gear. This is DC will be sponsored this year: Pay-per-view event, which will be held live at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and will be available for viewing on HBO Max on Saturday, November 22nd.
