DC Comics announced the new DC Early Reader Graphic Novel, Aquamanatee, to be published by Ben Clanton and Cassandra Federman on September 2nd.
Aquamanatee is a graphic novel for early readers in the Clanton and Federman series, following the launch of the 5-7-year-old early reader program on July 1st of the DC’s Early Leader Program with Rob Justus’ Superman’s Good Guy Gang .

Cassandra Federman was born and raised in Massachusetts. There, as a child, I read comic books, played action figures, drew superheroes, and participated in all the nerds. She graduated from Magna Come Loud at Brandeis University, where she co-founded the Brandeis Comic Book Club. After graduating from college, she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked in film and television. Over the course of her life, Cassandra has a lot to do. Hand models, wrestlers, manatee rescuers, actors, mystical wood elves – but their favorites so far have been author/illustrator.
