DC Comics reveals huge SDCC plans and exclusive rights

DC Comics revealed activations, panels and exclusive slates available at San Diego Comic-Con 2025.

For exclusive comics:

DC will sell limited edition printing of foil covers for Absolute Batman #1, Absolute Superman #1 and Absolute Wonder Woman #1. “Superman x Fortnite” Foil Variant Cover, Jim Lee, Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2 #1 “Titan-Size Special Edition” Kevin Maguire and more. DC will also offer an exclusive edition of Absolute Batman Vol. 1: Zoo, Absolute Superman Vol. 1: The Last Dust of Crypton, and the Absolute Wonder Woman vol. 1: The Last Amazon, Everything Comes with Jim Lee’s Dust Jacket, Art Print of Batman #158 H2SH Cover (11″ x 17″ Art Board Fax Medium), Batman #163 H2SH Triptic Cover (11″ x 17″ Art Board Fax Medium Set), New History of DC Unive Cover by Scott Koblish.

The DC booth also features several dedicated product items for sale, including hoodies, necklaces, t-shirts and even pet products featuring Superman.

At the DC booth, the DC Shop at Warner Bros Discovery offers exclusive essential items for DC superhero fans and supervilan lovers. This includes a special “Legends Forever” hoodie designed to honor DC Trinity from Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. There are also T-shirts, pins and hats, including a new Batman Comic Book logo (which will debut in Batman #1 in September), over 925 silver shield gold necklaces, and asserted pet products based on Super Dog Hardy, Super Man, Super Man, Super Dog T-shirts and more.

Official Peacemaker Season 2 products are also available at the DC booth. Highlights include the “Eat Peace” T-shirt and baseball cap inspired by HBO Max’s piecemakers.

Additionally, DC has the activations for the mobile games DC Worlds Collide, Fortnite, Progressive Insurance and Milk Bone.

A team of heroes and villains

Warner Bros. Games and DC invite fans to experience DC Worlds Collide, a highly anticipated mobile RPG at DC Booth. Players step into the rich animated DC universe.

Recruitment and battle with over 70 iconic characters, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Harley Quinn and Lex Luthor. Form a strategic alliance between superheroes and supervillers to defeat malicious crime syndicates. Take advantage of RPG tactics and character synergies based on the classes and traits you control in Campaign Mode and Side Quests. Upgrade your gear and abilities to unlock the full combat potential for each character.

Game demo participants will receive two limited edition 11-inch x 17-inch posters and take photos in front of a large 20-foot lightbox featuring key art from the game’s movie.

Fortnite X DC: First Comic-Con Crossover in History

In the historic first epic game, you will be celebrating the Fortnite X DC collaboration by joining Comic-Con International: San Diego’s DC.

Fans can play Blitz Royale mode in Fortnite at the DC Gaming Station at the DC booth and unlock limited edition posters featuring exclusive artwork by Legendary DC Publisher and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee. The poster introduces Superman along with a new generation of heroes introduced in Fortnite universe. DC will host live streams for activation of DC’s Twitch and YouTube channels from the DC booth from 1pm to 4pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

This is the first time Fortnite can play at the DC booth (#4544), offering fans a unique opportunity to experience the crossover firsthand.

Progressive Present: Steps to Comic Book Tradition

DC and Progressive Insurance are giving fans the opportunity to become part of comic book legends. Visitors are available at the DC booth.

Posing within the life-size recreation of the iconic action comic #1 cover featuring Superman’s first appearance. You’ll receive a reprint of the special edition of Action Comic #1 using a custom variant cover starring Progressive’s beloved icons Flo and Jamie.

This interactive photo activation combines nostalgia and humor, offering a unique souvenir for both fans and collectors alike. This activation presented by Progressive highlights Progressive’s in-app safety features and accident response. This is the real superhero solution that’s there when you need it most.

Milk-Bone® and DC unleash a very powerful friendship

In a heartwarming collaboration, Milk-Bone® and DC are original 12-page comics celebrating the bond between Superman: A Superman: A Superman and his loyal dog companion, Krypto the Super Dog.

Written by acclaimed DC writer Ivan Cohen and drawn by fan favorite artist Travis Mercer, the comic explores themes of loyalty, courage and relationship.

The comic will only be available as an exclusive “Virgin” Convention in San Diego Comics-2025. You cannot make logos or text on the cover a clean, collectible look.

Fans who purchase the limited edition Milkbone X Superman Box at the DC booth will receive a free copy of the comic, with the last supply in stock.

The booth also features a 20-foot lightbox display of Mercer’s stunning cover art, perfect for photography.

Join Scott Snyder, Joshua Williamson, Mark Waid and other top DC storytellers to dig deep into DC core and absolute comic books such as 2025. Panelists include Jeff Remair, Hayden Sherman, Dennis Camp and Jeremy Adams. Moderated by DC Executive Editor Chris Conroy and DC Group Editor Paul Kaminski. Room: 6DE

3:30-4:30pm. Batman Aztec: Chalk de Tiperios (Aztec Batman: Clash of Empire). (Warner Bros. Animation Panel)

Watch the highly anticipated animated film Batman Aztec: Chalk Deiperios (Aztec Batman: Clash of Empire). Join the cast and the creative team members to share footage and see internally how they bring the Batman world to Mesoamerican fascinating history and culture.

“Batman Aztec: Chalk de Imperios” (Aztec Batman: The Empire of Clashes) is an original, animation-length film that places iconic DC superheroes against the backdrop of Mexico’s fascinating history, and immerses fans around the world in Mesoamerican inspiring culture. During the Aztec Empire, young Aztec boy, Johri Koatl, experiences tragedy when his father and village leader Tortekatsin were murdered by Spanish conquerors. Johari flees to Tenocittlan to warn King Moktezuma and his high priest, King Joka, of the imminent danger. Yoali trains the temple of the bat god Twinakan as a registrar, along with his mentor and assistant Akatsin, to stand up to the Spanish invasion, defend the temple of Moktezuma, and develop equipment and weapons to revenge the death of his father. Join Legion, the famous DC Comic Book Creator, for this fun panel, as you discuss Superman, DC comics and more. It was hosted by DC Group editor Paul Kaminski. Panelists include Joshua Williamson (Superman), Dan Jurgens (Superman Trejury 2025: The Hero for Everyone), Mark Wade (Action Comics), Dan Slot (Superman Unlimited), Philip Kennedy Johnson (Superman Adventures: Book of EL), and Nicole Maine (Secret 6). Walking along the dark and rough streets of the DC Universe, along with top DC Comic Book creators for news and surprises involving Batman and other parents in Gotham City. Panelists include Matt Fraction (Batman), Scott Snyder (Absolute Batman), Dick Draggotta (Absolute Batman), Kyle Higgins (The Immortal Legendary Batman), and Daniel Warren Johnson (Absolute Batman 2025). 3:30pm – 4:30pm. Peace Maker Sneak Peak & Panel. (HBO Max and DC Studios panels)

Panelists include James Gunn (co-head of DC Studios, executive producer, writer and director), John Cena (peacemaker, executive producer), Daniel Brooks (Adebayo), Jennifer Holland (Harcourt), Freddie Stroma (Free), Steve Aje (Econo Os (Econo O) Meadows (Langston Fleury). SDCC participants will have the opportunity to sign and connect with comics with writers, artists, voice actors, actors, writers and directors that bring these iconic characters to life. From veteran veterans to rising stars, DC’s talent signatures are an exclusive opportunity to connect with the creative mind that will shape the future of the DC Universe.

DC President, Publisher and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee, Bilkis Every (Supergirl: Supergirl: Female Female), Joshua Williamson (Superman), Scott Snyder (Scott Snyder (Absorted Batman), Nick Dragot (Absorted Batman), Mark Waid (Absorted Batman), Mark Waid (Absorted Batman), and others, should stop by the DC booth while at SDCC to stop by the full list of signatures and appearances at SDCC. DC also revealed the next offsite event:

McFarlane Toys is planning to release the Batman-Superman Fusion Digital Collectible at Comic-Con this year. To celebrate the launch, McFarlane presents 12 exclusive 1-of-1 physical Batman variants. All figures feature a distinctive metallic colorway, a cap that Todd MacFarlane personally signed, with custom packages sealed with silver foil stickers, and individually commissioned for authenticity. A fusion of digital experiences and physical experiences, fans who use their credit card to purchase Batman Superman Fusion Digital Collectible will automatically be entered and earn one of the 12 legendary digital variants. You will then contact each recipient to receive an exclusive 1-of-1 physical Batman figure shipped directly to your home. These ultra-rare figure selections will be exhibited at booth #1915 during Comic-Con.

Funko (Booth #5341) and Mondo (Booth #5045) also offer the required DC exclusives at SDCC. There’s a pop on their offerings! Heroes: Kingdom is a Batman collection figure, original Batman and Robin Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures (Pop! Heroes: Batman 2010 and Pop! Heroes: Robin 2010) celebrate the original Funko version of the characters and Nightfall vigilante Azrael for SDCC exclusively as “Blueprint” and “Green Print” variants. Mondo’s DC monopoly will be revealed more before SDCC kicks off on July 24th. Fans can visit Funko and Mondo Online for more information.
