DC Black Label Batman/Green Arrow/Question: Arcadia announced

The DC Black Label brings together three of the most iconic vigilantes, Batman, Green Arrow and Questions. Batman/Green Arrow/Question: A gritty new 4th issue miniseries entitled Arcadia. Written and depicted by Gabriel Hardman, the series begins on November 26th, 2025 and promises a tense, morally complex story full of spies, political plots and personal calculations.

Set against the backdrop of global crisis and social unrest, Arcadia combines high stakes thrillers with grounded character drama. The story follows Bruce Wayne, who partners with billionaire environmentalists to investigate Arcadia, a floating city built off the coast of Greenland. At first glance, Arcadia looks like a solution to the climate crisis. However, as the green arrows and questions dig deeper, they uncover a nasty secret beneath the surface.

Inspired by the socially conscious thrillers of the 1980s, Hardman updates these characters for a world facing open-class war and ecological collapse. He is joined by colorist Romulo Fajardo Jr. and letter Simon Bowland to realize this modern-day noir vision.

“This is a dream project,” says Hardman. “I’ve wanted to put together these three characters since I was a teenager. I have built a legacy of creators like Denny O’Neill, Dennis Cowan and Mike Grell, but I’m not backwards. This is a fresh, future-looking take on these complex, opinionated heroes facing the challenges of the 21st century.”

The story continues in multiple threads. VicSage infiltrates the Arctic Circle, investigating the human trafficking ring. Oliver Queen, who was kicked out of Queen Industries, discovers that his company may be linked to the Arcadia Project. And, caught up between the allies and enemies, Batman questioned the true purpose of the floating city. The three vigilantes don’t always look into the eyes. And their conflicting philosophy is as dangerous as the enemies they face.

Expect moody visuals, sharp dialogue and psychological advantages as the series delves deep into issues of justice, power and personal responsibility. What happens if the agency fails? Who rises when morality is twisted for profit?

Batman/Green Arrow/Question: Arcadia #1 features a Hardman main cover and variant covers from Kevin Nowlan and legendary duo Denys Cowan & Bill Sienkiewicz. The Cowan and Sienkiewicz variants are available in both CardStock and Foil editions, based on the 1988 “Fables” crossover poster.

Question #1 arrives on November 26th with a mature reader label and a cover price of $5.99 ($7.99 for the foil variant). The complete miniseries will be collected for $24.99 in the hardcover edition, which will be released on June 16th, 2026.
