DC Comics has begun revealing its fall 2025 children’s graphic novel release. The initial lineup consisted of six books (and one box set), including a new early reader (ages 5-7) book starring Superman, the Teen Titans, Nubia, and a sequel. A book by Sarah Shepard, author of Pretty Little Liars.
Superman’s Good Guy Gang ($12.99) by Rob Justus, on sale July 1, 2025:
Superman’s Good Guy Gang
Released to coincide with James Gunn’s Superman (released July 10, 2025), this early reader book similarly stars 19-year-old Clark Kent as Kendra Sanders/Hawkgirl, Guy -He is shown forming a superhero club with Gardner/Green Lantern. The press release promises that this will be the start of the series, with Mister Terrific (another character appearing in the film), Batman, and Wonder Woman also joining the Good Guy Gang. The book is the DC debut of creator Rob Justus, previously best known for the children’s series Death & Sparkles.
Kid Flash: Going Rogue ($12.99), by Steve Foxe and Jerry Gaylord, on sale September 12, 2025:
Kid Flash: Going Rogue
A middle grade book aimed at readers ages 8 to 12, starring Ace West/Kid Flash and his uncle Barry Allen/The Flash. Here, after Kid Flash makes one too many mistakes, Barry transports him and a group of teenage thugs (Golden Glider, Pied Piper, Trickster, and The Top) to another dimension to take responsibility. Determined to Teach (albeit on their own after Barry) This was Fox’s first DC Comics (though he has also written other children’s books, including The Justice League Saves Christmas! This is Gaylord’s second film after last year’s “Clark and Lex.”
Supergirl: An 8th Grade Cosmic Adventure ($12.99) by Landry Q. Walker and Erik Jones, on sale August 5, 2025:
Supergirl: An 8th Grade Space Adventure
A reprint of Walker & Jones’ 2009 limited series, 8th Grade Cosmic Adventures follows Lindy Lee and Kara Zor-El as they prepare for graduation, including life in middle school, becoming a superhero, and a new enemy named Belinda Zee. It depicts how it is possible to balance the two. Heartbreakingly, the re-publication of this book comes almost three years after the death of artist Erik Jones, who passed away on September 10, 2022, at just 51 years old.
Birds of Prey: The Origins ($16.99) Written by Sarah Shepherd and Stephanie Pepper, on sale November 4, 2025:

In this film for young adults (ages 13 and up), Helena Bertinelli (Huntress), Barbara Gordon (Oracle), Dinah Lance (Black Canary), and Harleen Quinzel (Harley Quinn) star in the story of a disturbing incident involving students at Gotham Prep. has been reimagined as four teenagers investigating a crime. The four girls must put aside their differences and work together to solve the mystery before it’s too late. This will be Shepard’s first comic book, but artist Stephanie Pepper has previously illustrated DC’s Justice League and various covers for the company.
Teen Titans: Together ($16.99), by Kami Garcia and Gabriel Piccolo, November 4, 2025:

The culmination of Garcia and Piccolo’s young adult series brings together Dick Grayson/Robin, Raven/Rachel Ross, Garfield Logan/Beast Boy, Max Navarro/Soulstorm, Victor Stone/Cyborg, Damian Wayne, and Cori Anders/Starfire. trying to protect from evil. HIVE and her ruthless sister Kira. “The lines become blurred as the teens wonder what to do. HIVE may be their greatest ally…but at what cost? The Teen Titans fall apart Can they put together a plan before they do?” This is the sixth book in Garcia and Picolo’s reimagining of the classic team, which began with 2019’s Teen Titans: Raven.
Nubia: Too Real ($16.99) By LL McKinney, Robyn Smith, Manou AZUMI, September 2, 2025:

The sequel to McKinney and Smith’s 2021 YA release Nubia: Real One follows the title character as he spends his summer training with the Amazons on Themyscira. “Amid the pressure of mounting expectations, she struggles with feeling like an outsider and the weight of self-doubt strains her most important relationships. She doesn’t want her life to become any more complicated. Just when she thought nothing would happen, her greatest fear threatens the safety of everyone on Paradise Island.
