Following Marvel’s sold-out Deadpool/Batman #1 comic crossover one-shot, and just ahead of the release of Batman/Deadpool #1 from DC next week, both publishers today announced the availability of a digital-only crossover comic. According to a press release, “Each webcomic will be free to read with a subscription for 30 days before moving behind their respective paywalls, and both DC and Marvel will release these new stories for vertical scrolling.”
First up is The Flash/Fantastic Four from DC Universe Infinite as part of DC GO! The imprint from the creative team of writer Jeremy Adams and artist Adrian Gutierrez describes it as “Barry Allen and the Fantastic Four encounter heroes and villains across time as they break through the Speed Force and thwart Gorilla Grodd’s quest for spiritual domination.”
Meanwhile, Thor/Shazam, by writer Al Ewing and artist Jethro Morales, sees Donald Blake and Billy Batson team up to retrieve their respective stolen lightning powers.
New Thor/Shazam! Infinity Comics stories are available to all new and existing subscribers on Marvel Unlimited, Marvel’s digital comic subscription service. For a limited time from now until December 17, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET, fans can redeem a digital copy of this brand-new crossover story using the code CROSSOVER25 at Marvel.com/redeem.
To celebrate this new digital crossover initiative, DC and Marvel are offering each subscriber in the U.S. an exclusive code for a 30-day free trial of each other’s subscription services, DC Universe Infinite (“DCUI”) and Marvel Unlimited. DCUI paid subscribers who are not current Marvel Unlimited subscribers will be offered a trial of the Marvel Unlimited Monthly Plan, and Marvel Unlimited paid subscribers who are not current DCUI subscribers will be offered a trial of the DCUI Ultra Monthly Plan. Current subscribers to either Subscription Service will receive an email containing a unique code. New subscribers must sign up by December 17, 2025 to receive a free trial code. Automatic renewal and other terms apply.
According to a press release, “Two more crossover webcomics, one from each publisher, will be released in digital-first vertical scrolling in 2026. Further details on these webcomics will be revealed in the coming months.”
