We are currently the second day of Kodansha’s 3-day license announcement event! If you missed yesterday’s release, keep up with Beat’s coverage.

Today’s announcement includes newly collected print editions and exciting updates from the Kodansha Print Club. Fans are eager to more detail, and Kodansha offers the answer!

Sailor Moon Takeuchi Collection Box Set 2

Series by Takeuchi Kami Shinsei

With the success of the first Sailor Moon (Takeuchi Western Collection) manga box set, Kodansha announced a second box set in fall 2025, collecting both the remaining volumes of the main series and the codename volumes.

The teenage rabbit is not the best athlete, she never gets a good grade, and well, she’s a bit of a crybaby. However, when she meets the cat she is talking to, she begins a journey to teach her that she has great power just below the surface.

Kodansha Print Club update announcement

Kodansha Print Club is a print-on-demand program announced by Kodansha in October last year, and is set to print the digital first titles that fans love. The first three titles chosen to lead the program are Fuji Momo’s Love, which is an understatement: Mota ota Tep and Shinobi Umi’s Blade Girl.

Kodansha has announced that all three of these titles will be available for purchase starting next week. They ask readers to check in with their favorite cartoon retailer, as availability depends on the individual retailer.

Publishers address concerns and questions about delivery, particularly international readers.

Customers ordering from US retailers via international shipping:
If you are ordering from a US retailer, please note that international shipping may be restricted or may change in terms of price and delivery schedule. We recommend checking directly with the retailer before completing your purchase to ensure that everything goes as planned.

Customers ordering from non-US retailers with international shipping:
We are still working to secure KPC titles for international readers through retailers outside the US. Stay tuned for more updates!

Retailers interested in carrying Kodansha Print Club titles can find more details on the Kodansha website, including instructions on how to stock these releases.

The second day of Kodansha’s license event has concluded! Fans of Sailor Moon, a beloved series with a massive amount of cultural influence, are excited that their manga collection box will eventually be completed this fall. Meanwhile, other readers are enthusiastically anticipating tomorrow’s announcement, hoping to print fresh new titles.

Stay tuned for the beat for the third and final days of Kodansha’s release!
