Dark Horse Comics’s kindness will allow AIPT to share the design and process page of the future series. The buddy comedy is a letter from Rob Jones via Duan Malay and Armed Rafat. The 4th series, which will be debuted on March 19, is about learning fame, friendship, and how much to forge until you make it.
So about “Who is the power pal?”
Since playing the teenage superhero “Swallow” and “Bazard” in the 90’s television program power pal, Derek and Alex have been washed away. Wait, have you ever heard that? Don’t worry; you are not alone because the show was canceled after only three episodes. However, the small taste of the reputation became more hungry to them, and since then they have been about to return to Hollywood trains. After being fired from a studio security work and stopping at an agent, the middle -aged pair decided to wear old costumes and return themselves to the world.
While walking along Hollywood Odori with a popular cosplayer, they intervene to protect tourists from being attacked by a pair of ragged characters. Duo’s heroic videos become viral, and attention encourages them to fight more crimes. But if their low -level crime countermeasures are disrupted by the implicit crime boss plan, their friendship will take the ultimate test. And they soon begin to realize that they can’t survive for a long time to enjoy their new fame.

Duane Murray: For our pitch, the character was based on the actor in the created teaser video. When the dark horses boarded, we decided to look away from them and move to differentiate the two characters. Alex presents more “action heroes” for the “buddy comedy” dynamic and two -part method, and presents a derek that actually pushes action as a “side kick”. 21 Jump Street Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill were used as the first reference.
After that, AMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEDO became more sophisticated with its appearance and how it appeared in published books.

Ahmed Raafat: I like what I did for the pitch cover, but I wanted to press the superhero’s ratio slightly, so some of the pitch cover ideas (shows water tower, signboard/poster) I reused, but I made Alex and Derek. More center elements (I also plan to add a torn poster and make it look like a Randown alley)
