Daredevil and Punisher face off in the Devil Trigger Miniseries

After Frank Castle’s appearance in Daredevil: After being reborn, it’s no surprise that Marvel announced that the two vigilantes will face a comic with Daredevil/Punisher. The first issue features the cover Bikendrick “Kunka” rim, which can also be used as a virgin variant cover.

Official press release below:

Is there anything I need to pull the trigger?

Daredevil and the Punisher – Marvel’s biggest two with one of the most famous and renowned rivals in the comics capture not only each other but also the criminal elements of New York! Writer Jimmy Palmiotti revisits Marvel’s universe and steals Frank Castle for the most violent and visceral conflict against the Gnucci crime family! If their conflict threatens to tear the hellish kitchen, it will fall into Daredevil to contain the chaos!

“To be honest, writing this series was a real gift and a real gift for me,” Palmiotti said. “The reconnection with this storyline, originally caused by the Marvel Knights era, is pure adrenaline and nostalgia for me, giving both the Punisher and Daredevil an opportunity to dig deeper into something unique in Marvel’s universe. The Gnucci family is off the map, but as long as Daredevil witnesses the birth of four new crime syndicates and take over the city from the ashes, the vacuum will not remain empty.”

“When Daredevil pursues the next wave of his crime empire, Frank decides to teach Matt Murdoch that permanent justice will come to the barrel of guns,” he continued. “Just as the hell kitchen becomes a battlefield not just for the grass, but for the battlefield, it’s philosophy vs. firepower, but not just for the soul of justice. Writing this was an absolute thrill. This whole series.”

Daredevil/Punisher: Devil Trigger is available on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025.
