Calling all iPhone enthusiasts: Just hold Apple’s iPhone SE 4 in your hands. X (formerly Twitter) user Majin Bu shared what BU claims is the new iPhone SE 4. The leaker posted a video of the device from all angles, followed by four photos of both the black and white models from the back.
There’s no guarantee that these posts won’t just highlight well-done dummy units. This is usually the version made for accessory manufacturers. But if true, there are a few things we can glean. One of the most important bits is that this iPhone SE 4 still has a notch. In 2022, Apple released a dynamic island design for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, exposing the front camera notch to unify the look. The iPhone 15 and 16 also had a dynamic island, but despite rumors that it will come to the next SE, this leak shows that the notch will remain.
However, the big change in iPhone SE 4 is the switch from the Lightning port to USB-C. New regulations mean this move is required for it to be sold in the European Union. The post also shows a single rear camera similar to previous iPhone SE phones. Again, most of this is just a possibility at this point. Leaks have been wrong in the past, including a 2022 prediction for an iPhone 15 Ultra with two front cameras.
