Anyone who knows me (and if you’re reading this on a website that just steals content from others, Jason Brown of midlifegamergeek.com) knows that I’ve been a huge Transformers fan since day one in 1984. , but you also know that I’m a huge Transformers fan. I don’t just uncritically enjoy the stories the franchise throws at me.
But Daniel Warren Johnson seems to fully understand why robots in disguise work, and his reboot takes the story back to its roots while also adding a fresh take on the series’ origins. , was top-notch throughout from the beginning.
This issue sees a small team of Autobots on Cybertron searching for something that could give them new hope in the Eternal War. Meanwhile, on Earth, the Decepticons are at war on a truly epic scale, and the Autobots are doing their best to protect humanity from the carnage.
The series so far has done a great job of pairing Johnson with artists. Outside of his screenwriting work, Johnson has a similar sense of dynamic, weighty action. A few moments are enough to make the storytelling a little clearer, but for the most part, both in terms of action and small character moments, Jorge Corona’s pencils have a lot to offer, even when it comes to things like Autobot facial expressions. Even so, it works perfectly. Let’s go back to Cybertron. Cybertron is in dire straits in an ongoing conflict (and don’t even mention Sarah Stern’s bright, vibrant colors).
It’s also full of great little character moments, big, crunchy action, and a very convincing cliffhanger. What more could you ask for?
Hello! I’m Jason. I write articles for midlifegamergeek.com every day. Wouldn’t it be terrible if you were reading this article on a completely unrelated website like Kickstarter Comic and they were claiming my work as their own? What kind of idiot would do that? would you do that?
Anyway, if you like what you read, check out the original site. Unless you’re already here, in which case thank you!

Not only do I not earn any income from my writing here (although I may earn a small commission from affiliate links posted on my page), but I am also not the only person who has been paid by some lazy, morally bankrupt idiot to do so. It appears that his works have been stolen and reused.
No pressure, of course, but we really appreciate any support you can provide. You can easily support us through Ko-Fi.com/geekmid or the PayPal link.
