This issue of Raise Hell gets a little Scooby-Doo-esque as the core trio (and their demonic pals) investigate a haunted shopping mall with members of the Spectral Science Club. Can they earn club membership without getting into trouble? Read issue 3 of Raise Hell to find out.
I’m really enjoying this series, the alternative 00s setting where a demonic portal opened 30 years in the past is intriguing but is used to tell a relatable teen drama story (albeit with supernatural elements).
The relationships between the central characters develop nicely in this issue, and there are strong hints that little demon Ali might be up to something too.
So far it’s been an easy read, light-hearted and fun. It’s a light-hearted, just-fun comic to read. It doesn’t pretend to be anything other than entertainment.
