Read the following Marvel Comics press release:

Last month, it was announced that the X-Men by Chris Claremont: The X-Men of Future Past 1, a one-shot release to be released this July, will be publishing an unusual story that Chris Claremont wrote for the Marvel Made Paragon collection. Marvel Made Paragon Collection: Chris Claremont Premier Bundle will be reprinted in Wolverine by Chris Claremont #1, which will be released this August. Written and drawn by Claremont and acclaimed artist Tom Reilly, the thrilling standalone story expands on Japan’s Logan’s red saga and is directly linked to one of Claremont’s most famous works, Wolverine’s Classic 1982 series. Plus, Chris Claremont #1’s Wolverine includes bonus material that spotlights Chris Claremont’s comics from over 50 years!

The Wolverine Conference is one of the rarest X-Men stories by legendary author Chris Claremont, and this story sees the savage Sabreetooth astonishing his prey. Wolverine may be the best, but Victor Creed is the worst! But even if Sabretooth could have the advantage over his bitter rival, Logan has one thing he wouldn’t be: Friends! Be prepared for one of the bloodiest battles we’ve ever seen Creed shares shocking insights with Marvel mutants!

Check out Steve McNiven’s cover, an all-new variant cover by superstar cover artist Junggeon Yoon, and Wolverine’s interior artwork by Chris Claremont #1.
