Here’s the full synopsis for Dread the Halls 2025:
Dread the Holes strikes again this Christmas season with a gift of 72 pages of all-new tales of holiday horror for just $6.99. This time, Jordan Hart and Luana Vecchio bring us a seasonal blend of Hallmark movies and brutal revenge films. Chris Lyall and Keithan Jones paint Mars red in “The Martians Conquer Santa Claus!” Walter Pax and Fabio Velas return to the series to bring the festivities. Lyall and Lee Ferguson then perform a jet-black Christmas carol on “Chains Forged From Life.”

“We’re really excited about the release of ‘Yule’! Jordan and I put a lot of passion into this project, and we think it’s a really great idea to bring horror into the holiday season. We’re thrilled to be able to contribute to such a special anthology as ‘Dread the Holes,’ and we hope our readers love it as much as we loved making it,” Vecchio said in a statement to The Beat.
“‘Yule’ tells the story of what begins as a made-for-TV Christmas movie and turns into a brutal fight for survival,” Hart said in a statement to The Beat. “For me, Luana Vecchio is the only artist who can capture that changing story. She can truly express everything, from the idyllic characters and settings to the violent action. I loosened up the script and gave her complete freedom to unleash her storytelling talent. The end result is light years beyond what I originally imagined and is one of the best Dread the Halls stories ever.”
